Projects

I advise on technology — and I keep building it. These are some of the things I have built and launched in recent years. Not a portfolio, but proof of approach: I understand new technology by using it for real.

    Process Processor

Process Processor began with an observation: people sometimes find it easier to take a hard question from a neutral digital service than from an advisor. The product explores how structured dialogue and AI can help users discover bottlenecks, unclear responsibilities and improvement opportunities in their own work processes — without the technology being presented as the answer.

    DEX Audiobook

DEX Audiobook began with a Swedish book that had no English edition. Together with the author, I used several AI services to produce and compare English translations, focused on preserving the original's tone rather than just translating the words. The audio was generated locally on a Mac Mini M4 and published through apps for iOS and Android.

AI-assisted refactoring of legacy Java systems

Self-initiated experiments in using AI to understand and incrementally refactor legacy Java code. The results have been promising, especially for code analysis, identifying technical debt and bounded improvements. The experiments also show why automated tests, clear change control and human review are essential. This was a technical experiment, not a client engagement or a production migration.

    AI exploration

Ongoing practical experimentation: prototypes, AI-assisted development workflows, model comparisons and architecture patterns. The tools keep changing — the lessons about architecture, quality and decision-making last.
